Hailing from Kallara in Kottayam district, Kerala, once famous for its ever-green paddy field and natural stone bricks, Mr. T.C. Jimmy Tharayil goes by the philosophy “The Sky is the Limit”. After completing his schooling, he joined the Indian Air Force in the administrative department. During this period, he also completed his bachelor’s from Punjab University and Diploma in personal management from YMCA, Delhi. Having worked in the Airforce for more than twenty years, honed his administrative and management skills. However, he had to take a premature retirement to settle with his family in Delhi.
Some endings are meant to blossom into new beginnings. What started as just a job went on to fuel his latent passion for travel. Being a part of this travel industry for over a decade now, Jimmy believes that travel is the best school one can learn from. Having learnt the ropes of the industry, he welcomes you to see the world through “The Holiday Hype”. Belonging to a business family back home in Kallara, explains his inherent adeptness in customer relationship and social responsibility.
When not ruminating on different ways to create an enjoyable holiday experience for his guests, you can find him at the Cathedral Church, Archdiocese of Delhi, where he has been active member with the St. Vincent De Paul society that works for the upliftment of the poor. He cherishes the memories of working with Mr. Oscar Fernandes, the former Union Minister of India who was also the member of the Society, a noble soul and exceptional human being.
