Day 01: Arrival – Delhi

Once you complete your formalities and exit the airport, you will be greeted by our representative waiting to receive you with a placard bearing your name.

You will be transferred to your hotel for the day.

Relax for the rest of the day. Alternatively, if time permits, you can also choose to visit the Akshardham Temple. This is a Hindu shrine that showcases the Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture with excellence. Dedicated to Swaminarayan, it is touted as the world’s largest comprehensive Hindu temple by the Guinness World Record. Delhi’s Akshardham is known for its aesthetic beauty, unique exhibitions, sprawling campus, and tranquility.

Day 02: Delhi

Delhi, capital city of India. Such is its charm that without exploring it, your trip is incomplete. This city is a perfect blend of heritage and modernity. While Old Delhi unravels the old charm and speaks volumes about India’s history, culture and tradition, enchanting New Delhi exhibits the picture of modern India. Do not forget to indulge yourself in some mouth-watering street food before you end your trip.

We will start the tour by visiting the chaotic by lanes of Old Delhi. The tour will begin with a visit to the Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. It was built in red sandstone and marble by more than 5000 artisans. Later visit Chandni Chowk, Asia’s largest wholesale market, a massive area packed with shops, bazaars, and people. Drive past the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in 17th century. Also visit the Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

After this exhilarating experience, take a quick lunch break to energize yourself for the second part of the tour.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site – Qutub Minar, the second tallest minar in India. It is made of red stone and marble covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur’an. Later visit the 16th century Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, an outstanding monument in the Indo-Persian style and a precursor of the Taj Mahal. The tour of New Delhi will also include a drive past of the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings, and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. End your day at the India Gate, the 42 m high War Memorial Arch.

Day 03: Delhi- Agra (224 Kms / 04 hours approx.)

Morning, check out from your hotel and you will be transferred to Agra in your private car on the excellent Delhi- Agra Yamuna expressway.

On arrival, check-in at hotel in Agra.

After a quick wash and change, proceed to visit the Agra fort, one of the most significant Mughal forts. It was among the first monuments in India to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.Take your time to admire the intricate carvings and pure marbles used in the making.

Next, we will stop for some tea/coffee at the Sheroes Hangout. Started in December 2014, this is a café run by acid attack survivors. Besides the amazing coffee and lip-smacking snacks what you will also find here is a will to live, the courage to look beyond ones past and the hope of a brighter future in the eyes of these women. A visit to this café is sure to leave you humbler, grateful, and motivated to fight against all odds.

Our final stop for the day will be the Mehtab Bagh. The gardens in the Taj are perfectly aligned with the ones here and the view of the Taj from here, with the setting sun in the background is spectacular. Enjoy some breath-taking views as the sun goes down.

Day 04: Agra – Ranthambhore (300 Kms / 5.5 hours approx.)

Wake up at the crack of dawn to visit the Majestic Taj Mahal at sunrise.Described as a teardrop on the cheek of eternity, this monument is truly a wonder of the world. The iconic Taj Mahal is not only an architectural masterpiece, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World – it’s also the enduring legacy of a royal love story. It was commissioned in the 15th century by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan after the death of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, to serve as her final resting place and a symbol of his eternal affection for her. Combining Islamic, Persian, Ottoman Turkish and Indian design elements, it’s an awe-inspiring structure of elegant domes and white marble, which changes color along with the light – pink at sunrise, pearly white in the afternoon and silver-gold in the full moon.

After the tour return to your hotel. After rest and relaxation, check out from your hotel and you will be transferred to Ranthambhore in your private car.

Day 05: Ranthambhore

Today enjoy early morning & afternoon game drives in Ranthambhore National Park by shared jeep/canter. Experience its lush forests that are home to Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital, Nilgai, and over 250 species of birds. The duration of the safari is around 03 hours and is accompanied by an experienced naturalist.

Day 6: Ranthambhore – Jaipur (150 Kms / 04 hours approx.)

Today early morning enjoy another game drive in the Ranthambhore national park by shared jeep/canter. After the tour, check-out of your hotel and you will be transferred to Jaipur in your private car.

On arrival, check-in at your hotel in Jaipur. Relax for the rest of the day. Alternatively, you can also choose to explore the colorful markets of the city.

Day 07: Jaipur

Morning, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of the Pink city.

Your first stop for the day is the Amer Fort. Cradled on top of the Aravalli hills lies the magnificent fort. Also commonly known as the Amber Fort, this majestic building with its maze-like passages and serpentine staircases is an architectural masterpiece and with significant importance in Indian history. To reach the entrance at the top, you can either walk uphill, ride on elephant back, go by jeep, or take your vehicle.

We will also take a photo stop at `Palace of Winds’, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal. This is a tall structure, with a unique structure of small windows, which allowed cool wind to enter. It was constructed so that women of royal families could a view of everyday life through the windows. In the afternoon proceed for the city tour. Among the highlights to be seen while touring Jaipur include the City Palace, an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art, and carved doorways. The palace museum houses collections of rare manuscripts, armory, costumes, carpets, and miniature paintings.

Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar or Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur in the 18th century and is one of the five such astronomical wonders built by Sawai Jai Singh and makes accurate predictions even to this day.

Day 08: Jaipur- Delhi (270 Kms / 05 Hrs approx.) – Departure

After a leisurely morning, check-out from the hotel and you will be transferred to Delhi in your private car.

On arrival in Delhi, we will drop you at the airport to board your flight back home!
